Museum dedicated to Renaissance humanist Erasmus, housed in the late-15th-century canonical residence in Anderlecht where he stayed in 1521; founded in 1930, it holds around 1,200 books and manuscripts, portraits by Holbein, Metsys and Dürer, and original editions of works such as In Praise of Folly.
