Open-air museum near Saint-Hubert, founded in 1771 by Nicolas Spirlet, last abbot of Saint-Hubert Abbey, as an ironworks and forge powered by the Masblette stream, later run as a foundry by industrialist Léopold Zoude after the abbey's lands were sold off in 1797. Since 1977 the 80-hectare site has combined the Museum of Iron and Early Metallurgy with an open-air museum of rural buildings relocated from villages across the Ardennes.
