Hospital founded in 1242 in Lessines by Alix de Rosoit, widow of the local lord Arnould IV of Audenarde, and entrusted to a community of Augustinian sisters recorded from 1246. Expanded into its present quadrilateral form between the 16th and 18th centuries in Flemish Renaissance and late Gothic styles, it functioned as a working hospital until the 1980s and now displays medical instruments, pharmaceutical collections and a Baroque chapel across twenty rooms.
