Archaeology museum in Ath, founded in 1997, largely built around finds from the 1975 excavations at Pommerœul, a Gallo-Roman crossroads settlement uncovered during construction of the Mons-Condé canal. Its most notable holdings are five ancient boats found there, including a dugout canoe and two Celtic-tradition barges, one displayed in a climate-controlled two-storey case.
