Brussels museum of the National Bank of Belgium, opened in 1982 and since 2018 housed in an 1872-74 eclectic building by architect Désiré De Keyser, tracing the history of money from barter to the euro through more than 300 objects, 2,500 years of coinage and over 24,000 banknotes.
