Belgium's national film archive in Brussels, founded in 1938 by Henri Storck, André Thirifays and Pierre Vermeylen and known as Cinematek since 2009. Housed at the Palais des Beaux-Arts, it preserves some 35,000 film titles along with photographs, books and magic-lantern plates, and screens works from its collection daily.
