Vaulted underground galleries dug in the second half of the 1st century BCE, the only Roman monument still visible in Narbonne. Across some 200 square metres, a central corridor serves small rooms whose function — warehouse, covered market or crawl space — remains debated; the whole complex is listed as a historic monument.
