A vast archiepiscopal complex combining the Romanesque Palais Vieux and the Gothic Palais Neuf, with its square keep built in 1308 by Archbishop Gilles Aycelin. Listed as a historic monument as early as 1840 and completed in the 19th century with Viollet-le-Duc's neo-Gothic town hall, it houses the museum of art and history and the archaeology museum.
