Neo-Renaissance building constructed in 1891 by the municipal architect Léopold Carlier for the club of the Montpellier students' general association, then handed over to the city's societies, hence its name. Set on the Esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle, it has been an exhibition space devoted to photography since the late 1990s.
