Contemporary art museum at Grand-Hornu, a former colliery built from 1816 for industrialist Henri De Gorge and completed in neoclassical style by architect Bruno Renard in 1831; listed among Wallonia's major mining sites on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2012, the restored engineers' building has hosted the Wallonia-Brussels Federation's museum of contemporary art since 2002.
