Fortress founded in 1171, whose 31-metre cylindrical keep, among the oldest in France, dates from 1180. Jean de Dunois, a companion-in-arms of Joan of Arc, had a Gothic residential wing and the Sainte-Chapelle built there between 1452 and 1468; the chapel preserves some fifteen statues of saints.
