Set in the Gère valley, Vienne's industrial cradle, in a factory building erected in 1919 to designs by the architect Henri Poussin, it opened to the public on 21 September 2019. Machines, archives and objects trace the manufacture of textiles and working-class life in the 19th and 20th centuries.
