Opened in 1909 in a building erected for it, this municipal museum was entirely rethought in 1988 by the prehistorian Henry de Lumley. It presents the prehistory of the region and of Liguria, from tools of the Grotte du Vallonnet, more than a million years old, through to the Iron Age.
