Château built from 1612 to 1619 by Salomon de Brosse, bought in ruins by the American philanthropist Anne Morgan, whose committee had aided the devastated regions of the Aisne during the Great War. It became a museum in 1924 and a national museum in 1931, and traces Franco-American relations since the War of Independence.
