Neo-Gothic and neo-Renaissance building built from 1900 to 1905 by the Strasbourg architects Kuder and Müller, at the request of the mayor Xavier Nessel to house his collections. On display are Bronze and Iron Age archaeology, Gallo-Roman and Merovingian pieces, Hannong earthenware and manuscripts from the workshop of Diebold Lauber.
