Housed in the Grande Boucherie, built from 1586 to 1588 on the banks of the Ill. Founded in 1920 and long closed, it reopened in 2007 and traces the city's history from the Middle Ages to the present day; its relief map of 1727, covering nearly eighty square metres, is its centrepiece.
