A grand house built from 1901 to 1902 for the cabinetmaker Louis Majorelle by the young Parisian architect Henri Sauvage, assisted by Lucien Weissenburger. A centrepiece of the École de Nancy and French Art Nouveau, it combines Majorelle's furniture with paintings by Francis Jourdain and a decor of glazed stoneware.
