Museum inaugurated on 14 October 1966 in a modernist glass-and-steel building designed by Jacques and Michel André with Claude Prouvé, formed of two wings linked by a gallery. Renamed Féru des Sciences in 2022, it holds more than 13,000 objects tracing the history of iron and the steel industry.
