House museum in the early 20th-century Villino Boncompagni Ludovisi in Rome, bequeathed to the Italian state by Princess Blanceflor de Bildt Boncompagni in 1972 and opened to the public in 1995. Its five rooms display the family's original furniture, tapestries, paintings and ceramics alongside a collection of 20th-century Italian fashion, including garments by Valentino, Fernanda Gattinoni and Roberto Capucci, enriched in 1996 by the wardrobe of art historian Palma Bucarelli.
