Archaeological site beneath the cathedral of Concordia Sagittaria, near Venice, uncovering the foundations of an early Christian basilica within the Roman city of Iulia Concordia, founded around 42 BCE at the crossing of the Via Annia and Via Postumia. Nearby excavations have also revealed Roman warehouses, baths, a bridge and a soldiers' burial ground.
