Archaeological museum inside the Norman-Swabian castle of Vibo Valentia, built on what is thought to have been the acropolis of the ancient Greek city of Hipponion, founded in the seventh century BCE by colonists from Locri. Its collection spans Greek votive pottery from the sanctuary of Scrimbia to Roman-era material from the later city of Vibo.
