State museum in Mileto, the Calabrian town made his capital by the Norman count Roger I de Hauteville in the 11th century and levelled by the earthquake of 1783. Its holdings gather architectural and sculptural fragments rescued from the destroyed town, including material from the Norman abbey of Santissima Trinità, founded by Roger I and his burial place.
