Museum and archaeological park in Bova Marina, Calabria, built around the remains of a synagogue dating from the 4th to the 6th century AD, discovered by chance in 1986 and among the oldest known in Italy after Ostia Antica. The site preserves a 30-square-metre mosaic floor decorated with a menorah, shofar, etrog, and palm branch, the principal evidence of a Jewish community in Roman-era Calabria.
