Ruins of one of the twelve villas that, according to Suetonius, the emperor Tiberius had built on Capri, constructed on a promontory near the Blue Grotto between around 27 and 36 CE. Its most striking surviving feature is an 80-metre porticoed loggia that opened onto the Bay of Naples and ended in a semicircular belvedere; a medieval watchtower was later raised on the site.
