教堂俯瞰阿布魯佐馬薩達爾貝（Massa d'Albe）的阿爾巴富森斯（Alba Fucens）羅馬考古遺址，建於一座阿波羅神廟舊址之上，十二世紀初由本篤會修士重建為三殿式建築——皇帝虔誠者路易於866年確認該修會對此地的所有權。教堂保存一座科斯馬提式讀經台及一座設有扭紋石柱與斑岩鑲嵌的1215年聖幛，1915年阿韦扎諾地震中大部分被毀，1955年至1957年間由拉法埃洛·德洛古主持近乎完整的原件複位修復重建。
