Church overlooking the Roman archaeological site of Alba Fucens in Massa d'Albe, Abruzzo, built over a temple of Apollo and rebuilt with three naves in the early 12th century by Benedictine monks, whose possession of the site was confirmed by Emperor Louis the Pious in 866. It preserves a Cosmatesque ambo and a 1215 iconostasis with twisted columns and porphyry inlay; largely destroyed by the 1915 Avezzano earthquake, it was rebuilt in a near-total anastylosis by Raffaello Delogu between 1955 and 1957.
