Museum devoted to René Magritte, opened in 2009 on Place Royale in Brussels within the late-18th-century Hôtel du Lotto, run by the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium; it displays more than 150 works — oils, gouaches, drawings and sculptures — largely from the donations of Irène Scutenaire-Hamoir and Georgette Magritte, tracing the artist's career across three floors.
