House-museum in the former studio of Romantic painter Antoine Wiertz (1806-1865) in Ixelles, Brussels, opened in 1868. Preserved largely as the artist arranged it, it houses his monumental canvases, drawings and sculptures and now forms part of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium.
