Renaissance château built between 1519 and 1534 by Jeanne de Balsac d'Entraygues in memory of her son Robert, killed in war in 1523, with an Italian-inspired straight staircase and carved busts of her family. Stripped and sold off in 1880, it was bought back and restored between 1908 and 1913 by the industrialist Maurice Fenaille, who donated it to the state.
