A Cantal museum set in a former 17th-century Visitandine convent, later a national stud farm in the 19th century, then converted into a museum in 1992 within the Pierre-Mendès-France cultural centre. Its collections span archaeology from the Palaeolithic to the Gallo-Roman period, the traditions of Haute-Auvergne, and paintings and sculptures from the 17th to 19th centuries.
