A 14th-century Gothic rayonnant cloister adjoining the south side of Bayonne's Sainte-Marie Cathedral, one of the largest in France. Its galleries hold tomb recesses and funerary slabs from the 14th to 18th centuries and once served as a meeting place for guilds and neighbourhood assemblies.
