Residence of the paper engineer Aristide Bergès, a pioneer of hydroelectric power, at the foot of the Belledonne range. Its Art Nouveau interiors, preserved with their original decor and furnishings, provide the setting for a museum devoted to "white coal" (hydroelectricity) and the industrialisation of the Grésivaudan valley.
