Opened on 23 April 1966 on the initiative of former Resistance fighters and deportees, the departmental museum moved in 1994 to rue Hébert, into a refurbished building of 1863. More than 5,000 posters, photographs, printed matter and personal objects there recount the entry into resistance, the maquis, the persecution of Jews, repression and the Liberation in the Isère.
