Memorial devoted to the Ascq massacre, in which SS troops of the Hitlerjugend division executed eighty-six civilians on the night of 1-2 April 1944 in reprisal for a railway sabotage. Housed in the former infant welfare clinic, opened in 1984 and redesigned in 2005, it broadens its scope to the violence of the war and the post-war trials.
