Memorial set up on rue Thubaneau, in the former jeu de paume court that housed the Marseille Jacobin club. It was there that the Marseille federated volunteers struck up, in 1792, Rouget de Lisle's Chant de guerre pour l'armée du Rhin, which they carried to Paris and which became La Marseillaise; an immersive trail retraces its history.
