Created in 1963 on remains uncovered in 1947 during the reconstruction of the Vieux-Port districts, it presents in situ one of the few known Roman commercial warehouses in the world. Some thirty dolia — large jars able to hold nearly 2,000 litres of wine — are preserved there in their original location.
