Memorial opened in December 2019 in a bunker built by the German army at the foot of Fort Saint-Jean in Marseille. Across three levels, it traces the repression and persecution of the Occupation: the round-ups of January 1943, the destruction of the old districts, and the deportation of residents who were arrested.
