A former hospital founded in 1237 by Jeanne de Constantinople, Countess of Flanders, at the heart of Vieux-Lille, it has housed the city's museum of art and history since 1962. Displayed in the buildings of the Augustinian community that ran the hospital until 1793, its collections evoke Lille's past and Flemish decorative arts.
