Created in 1968 in the buildings of the former Saint-Julien abbey, it is the oldest and foremost museum devoted to compagnonnage, the French guild tradition. It traces the history of the compagnons and displays a great many masterpieces produced at the end of the Tour de France, across nearly every trade.
