Set in the Château de Brest, a fortress of Roman origin commanding the mouth of the Penfeld and listed as a historic monument in 1923. Its rooms trace the history of the arsenal and the navy through ship models, sculptures by Yves Collet, navigational instruments and a German Seehund-class submarine.
