Founded in 1908 following a donation from the painter Félix Ziem (1821-1911) to his adopted city, it has been housed since 1982 in a converted former customs barracks. Ziem's Venetian and Mediterranean landscapes are joined by the Marseille school, Dufy, Derain, votive paintings and local archaeology.
