Natural history museum housed in the former residence of the governor of Aunis, built from 1708 to 1718 to plans by the royal engineer Claude Masse. Born from the cabinet given by Clément de la Faille in 1782, then enriched by the Fleuriau de Bellevue bequest in 1852, it reopened in 2007 with galleries of natural history and ethnography.
