Archaeological museum in Chiusi devoted to the Etruscan city of Clusium, founded as a municipal collection in 1871, rehoused in its present neoclassical building in 1901 and taken over by the state in 1963. Its holdings, arranged from the Bronze Age to the Roman period, include Etruscan cinerary urns, notably the anthropomorphic Dolciano canopic urn, imported Attic pottery, and finds from the surrounding necropolises, among them Poggio Renzo and the Tomba del Colle.
