National archaeological museum of the Umbria region, established in 1948 around collections dating back to 1790, and housed in the former Dominican convent of San Domenico in Perugia. Its holdings trace regional prehistory through the Roman period, including the Etruscan Cippus of Perugia, bronzes from Castel San Mariano and a reconstructed Etruscan tomb.
