Prehistoric museum and archaeological area at Ventimiglia, on a cluster of caves near the French border explored since the 19th century. Excavations from the Upper Paleolithic yielded human burials, known as the Grimaldi Men, and a group of small carved female figurines, the Balzi Rossi Venuses, now displayed alongside the site.
