Picture gallery in Sassari's former Jesuit Collegio Canopoleno, opened to the public in 2008 to display around 400 paintings from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. Its holdings derive largely from private collections donated to the city in the late 19th century, notably by the entrepreneur Giovanni Antonio Sanna in 1875.
