Contemporary art museum in Ghent, tracing its origins to 1957 and settled since 1999 in a renovated 1949 casino building in the Citadelpark. Its collection focuses on European art from 1950 onward, from Cobra and Pop Art to Minimal and conceptual art, and includes works by Joseph Beuys, Francis Bacon and Belgian artists Marcel Broodthaers, Panamarenko and Luc Tuymans.
