A Renaissance château built by François I from 1532, where the 1539 ordinance mandating French in the kingdom's administrative and judicial acts was signed. Restored and converted into the Cité internationale de la langue française, it reopened in 2023 with a permanent exhibition on the history of French and the Francophone world.
