Bayeux's museum of art and history, housed in the former episcopal palace, whose buildings span the 11th to the 16th century. Reopened in 2013 after a long campaign of works, it has borne the name of Baron Gérard since 1951 and brings together archaeology, old master and Impressionist paintings, and above all the porcelain and lace that made the city's reputation.
