Birthplace of the sculptor Auguste Bartholdi, at 30 rue des Marchands in Colmar, converted into a museum in 1922. It preserves models, sketches, drawings and photographs relating to his great commissions, from the Statue of Liberty to the Lion of Belfort, and houses in its courtyard the bronze group Les Grands Soutiens du Monde.
